His career spans roles at Bitfinex, Tether, Digital Science, TUI Group, and ELC Technology, where he specialized in designing innovative architectures and leading agile teams. A strong advocate for free software and decentralization, Enrico has consistently pushed the boundaries of blockchain technology.
During his time at Tether and Bitfinex, Enrico contributed to key infrastructure projects, including one of the first implementations of Tether on Ethereum. Recognizing Bitcoin's unmatched security and network effect, he founded Mintlayer in 2019 with a vision to bring tokenization back to Bitcoin—without wrapped assets or reliance on intermediaries.
